AYE AYE CAPTAIN!
AYE AYE CAPTAIN!
#what do you think is going through steve’s head in this moment #”the only thing you really fight for is yourself. #you’re not the guy to make the sacrifice play. #to lay down on a wire and let the other guy crawl over you.” #or maybe he’s not thinking about anything #except for how it never hurts any less to see a fellow soldier fall
“It appears to run on some form of electricity.”
Top ten favourite supporting characters in superhero films (in no particular order): #9 Howard Stark (Captain America):
↳ Howard Stark: “Once you think you have figured out a dame, you sir are… boned.”
i just fucking love that the twelve pound adamantium shield slams into Thor’s head and reacts the same as it does bouncing off of iron man’s chest.
And thor’s all. “what the fuck bro i was in the middle of something”
Is it dumb that I’m genuinely bothered when people call it adamantium.
Pedantic Girl, awaaaaaay~
That’s the American Way
I saved this just for the sake of future reaction gif. And then I noticed..
….the way he hunches.
….the way his fingers fidget.
….he’s just that kid from Brooklyn; all alone in the 21st Century :(
There’s not a single trace of Captain America in him and that broke my heart into million pieces </3
and anyone else notice that everyone else on the train is on their phones? Even that old lady in the corner. Everyone else has someone to talk to. to call or text. Steve has one person. But he doesn’t know if a phone call from him would be welcome. Peggy’s retired and living in Britain. She’s probably moved on with her life and she’s probably old. She doesn’t need Steve digging up the past where all they could really talk about is the war and the friends that they lost. Peggy’s probably had a good and happy life. Steve doesn’t want to bring up unhappy memories. So he won’t call her.
They say his body could withstand almost anything.
But that doesn’t mean his mind could.
NOPE. FUCKING NOPE.
